In mathematics, a multiplication chart is a table used to define a multiplication operation for an algebraic system. It is used as part of the Maths learning process. John Leslie published a multiplication table up to 99 × 99 in the book The Philosophy of Arithmetic, publishd in 1820. This table allows numbers to be multiplied in pairs of digits at a time. Commonly, a table of 12 × 12 is used in schools, but this table can virtually be generated for any desired pair of numbers. Many educators believe it is necessary to memorize the table up to 9 × 9. Train your memory!
The tables generated in this website can be used to as a printable template.
